hhe just the CEO.. old story na bt i just wanna have a place to write the event down.. all employees gets to have a dinner with the ceo.. that is unless you left/resigned na before getting an invite.. ang random kasi ng pagpili.. kaya you dont know if masasali ka ba sa next or not... big deal siya for us newbies(still thinks myself as a newbie kahit na di na ko technically newbie)..
from our group 4 kami.. me, L (my boss) A (sa loans siya di niya boss si L pero same yung boss ng boss niya and boss ni L) and M (2nd week palang niya tapos nasama na siya sa dinner... sa CDU din siya like me pero sa main bank siya kaya di din niya boss si L) there are some others from the other depts syempre..
me and A were thinking na kung paano kami pupunta sa forbes.. kasi we dont have a car.. we need to reserve a sit in the bank car which would be provided for makati base and ortigas base people.. ayaw ni A mag ask kay L na isama kami sa listahan kasi di nga naman sila close.. so syempre ako nalang nagsabi sa kanya..
by some typo or miscommunication.. nakasulat sa list of invitees na ang line manager ko is not L but yung supervisor namin.. edi tampo itong si L kaya sabi ba naman na ayaw niya kasi sinabi ko daw dun sa HR na hindi siya yung line manager ko.. LOL sobrang immature talaga nun.. so i needed to convince him na hindi ako yung nagsabi nun.. i wasnt able to talk with the HR guy coz i was out for lunch nun.. it was so funny.. in the end sabi niya sabay nalang kami sa kanya since may car naman siya..
it took a lot of convincing kay A bago napapayag kasi nahihiya daw siya.. i asked M na din to go with us since willing naman si L ihatid kami pabalik ng office afterwards..
the ride to forbes was pretty awkward.. kasi ang tahimik ng lahat.. nahihiya kasi yng dalawa kay L.. itong si L naman napakasuplado kasi kaya lalong nanahimik yung dalawa...
the dinner was ok.. masarap naman yung food pero hindi siya ganun ka bongga.. there was fish and pork and veggies and pasta and prok pa ata ulit.. buffet style sya.. pero home cooked daw lahat.. galing may chef siguro sila sa bahay... nandun yung CEO with his wife.. umiikot sa mga tables.. pero wala naman naging interactions masyado.. we just smile and nod at them while they kept on giving small talks sa table...
may desserts and wine.. desserts lang kinain ko since my parents WARNED me away from liquor grabe para naman kasing malalasing ako from one glass of wine......
the dinner ended around 8 plus.. sayang nga eh kasi si tin may was riding with the bank car.. it was going straight to ortigas tapos mag mmrt sila nina C.. i was offered to go with them na nga kaso.. di ko maiwan sina A and M kay L... so imbes na makauwi ng mas maaga.. and mas madali... umiikot pa talaga ako.. literally.. coz nawala kami nina L sa forbes..
galing naman kasi kwento ng kwento.. yun mamayang konti napansin niya na hindi na nya alam yung pinupuntahan namin.. lahat nalang ng tao na makasalubong namin eh tinanungan na namin.. iba iba pa yung sinasabi kaya paikot ikot lang tlga kami.. i was laughing so hard and teasing him of being super ba d with directions buti nalang hindi ako iniwan sa kung saan.. sabihin ba naman na "ah ito alam ko na toh" then lost again "sabi na dapat dito eh" then lost again.... LOL yabang kasi eh.. pero at least better than nung papunta na sobrang tahimik ng lahat..
it was such a waste of friday night.. may ibang dinner pa naman sana akong pupuntahan.. pero at least i got a chance to be in the CEO's foyer... sayang talaga coz i love looking at other people's place.. but other than a glimpse of their living room wala na: (
